Persuasive Speech On Argumentation Skills - 950 Words
If there is one skill that we could all improve on, it would definitely have to be our argumentation skills. At some point in your life, you will find yourself having to defend yourself through argumentation. Someone might make a claim that you strongly disagree about, or vice versa. It is very important that you have the proper skills to argue so you donââ¬â¢t end up looking foolish and unintelligent. It is also important because you could find yourself in a position where something important is on the line, such as a career, or a special relationship. Some people say the only way to improve your argument is to speak louder, repeat your thesis, and get angry with the person youââ¬â¢re arguing with. Youââ¬â¢re better off not even arguing if that is the way you argue. Again, it is very important to improve your argumentation skills. Students seeking guidance in arguing should enroll into an Eng 111 course. The Eng 111 course spends a whole week emphasizing the importance of arguing. It is a very good investment for your life. I created this advertisement in hopes to bring light of the importance of arguing. The visuals I chose are supposed to show the difference between a poor argument and a good argument.
